Board passers celebrate

Medici alumni celebrate their most recent triumph with the nursing graduates of 2019 achieving a 93% board pass rate from the recent nursing licensure exams conducted by the Professional Regulatory Commission. This result is in keeping with the College’s record over the past 5 years, Dean Ganimede Joya said. She credits this to the dedication of the faculty in providing real world, outcomes-based education and the unique learning model applied by Medici in partnership with its long-standing base hospital, Makati Medical Center.

Over at the psychology department, all of the recent graduates that took the psychometrician board exams also passed. Jinky Rosuello, coordinator of the program congratulated the students who will now reap the rewards of their hard work. The recent passage of the Philippine Mental Health Act law means that there will be an increased demand for licensed professionals in the field.

Pres. Katrina Santos for her part thanked the parents and loved ones of the graduates for supporting their children through their studies at the College for the last four years. “Your perseverance and dedication in ensuring a bright future for these graduates has paid off, “ she said. “It encourages us in the administration to stay true to our mission of building a center of excellence in the nursing and allied health fields.
